A 4 days cruise trip to the Mekong Delta of
Vietnam: this tour takes you Can Tho, Chau Doc, Ho Chi Minh City and My
Tho. Take boat and cruise on Mekong and Rach Ngong Rivers observing the
local life and natural beauty of countryside. Visit floating markets,
fruit orchards and fish-breeding villages on the course. Other major
sightseeing spots include Vinh Trang Pagoda, Sam Mountain, Lady Xu
Temple, Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple and Tay An Pagoda.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Can Tho (Lunch/Dinner)
Pick
up at hotel. Drive to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and
visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 175,000
inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive
orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River
and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route at a local
restaurant. Continue with a visit to a snake farm before proceeding to
Can Tho. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 2: Can Tho – Thot Not – Chau Doc (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast
at hotel. Boat trip on Rach Ngong river and visit fruit orchard and Cai
Rang floating market. Lunch at local restaurant. Orient tour in town
visit to the Kh’mer temple Continue to Chau Doc on the route visits to
the Bang Lang bird sanctuary. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 3: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast
at hotel. Cruise on the Mekong river to visit the boat trip to Islamic
Champa Village and fishing breeding houses on the Mekong River. Visit
Sam Mountain, Lady Xu Temple, Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple, Tay An Pagoda.
Depart Chau Doc to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at local restaurant in
Chaudoc. Depart Chau Doc to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner and accommodation
at hotel.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (Breakfast)
Breakfast
at hotel. Time at leisure for own activities before transfer to the
airport. Depart Ho Chi Minh by international flight for next
destination.
