DAY 1: PHNOM PENH to KOMPONG CHAM
Departure with professional guide and private car, to Kompong Cham (about 126 Km from Phnom Penh). On the way, some interesting village whith a open air market and the village of Skun, small village with a market, known for a culinary speciality, the fried spiders (many people buy these "soil spiders" that you can see also alive). on the way, visit Toek Chha located on a lake, Phnom Bros, Phnom Srei and visit of Vat Nokor temple of 12th centuary, inside there is a Bouddhist temple and located just near of a monastry with many young monks. Then, you will discover the beautiful Heveas plantation of Chhup's region (some trees date of 1920) and the latex factory acient style but still in important production. Night in Kompong Cham. Day 2: KOMPONG CHAM-KOMPONG THOM - SAMBOR PREI KUK
Departure to Kampong Thom (about 3h drive). Excursion, discovery of Sambor Prei Kuk's temples, certainly the most beautiful examples of the Pre-Angkorien art of the 7th century (615-650AC) ; more than hundred temples in a luxuriant vegetation. Many are in ruins and some of them are sustains by roots of chees monger as wood sculpting. Sambor Prei Kuk its the deep Cambodia and very quiet and charming place, is located about 30 Km from Kampong Thom . Kompong Thom its a provincial town on the bank of Mekong River. Overnight at Stung Seng hotel in Kampong Thom.
Day 3: KOMPONG THOM-PHNOM PENH
Morning , after breakfast, city tour and travel back to Phnom Penh. On the way, visit Phnom Santuk Mountain located 10 Km south of Kampong Thom province. There is more than 900 steps for go to the top of the mountain, where stands a pagoda well known of its drought- well, which local people drop some coins in it and listen to the wonderful sound when the coins hitting the ring of the well and pray. Afternoon return to Phnom Penh. Overnight Phnom Penh hotel not included.
